Per Board Bylaw 9100, each year, the Governing Board shall hold an annual organizational meeting.
Per Board Bylaw 9130, upon establishing a committee, the Board shall clearly define the committee's purpose, any timeline for completion of assigned responsibilities, any stakeholder groups or individuals to be represented on the committee, the length of time that committee members are expected to serve, and expectations for reporting to the Board and/or the Superintendent or designee. |
At the annual meeting, the Board shall designate Board representatives to serve on committees or commissions of the district. The Board Advisory Committee Guidelines helps staff and the board when preparing for the advisory committee meetings. |
